I’ve kind of been at the online shopping game for a while now, and one of my biggest red flags when purchasing is Asian models. As in every one of the marketing photos features a tiny adorable girl. This leads to buying clothes labelled with a wide variety of sizes that never match up to what I expect.

I’ve been put off buying from ChicStar for this exact reason. I of course want to buy clothes that will fit me.

But I’ve given in because this dress is just lovely:

Spice, Spice, Baby

I got this purfume once by accident when Spell & the Gypsy Collective totally mangled my order (wrong kimono, wrong purfume). However, it turned out fortuitously because the Citrus and Spice purfume they sent in error was absolutely delicious, and I may never have got onto it otherwise. I now order direct from the manufacturer!

My last Amazon order seems to have mysteriously disappeared. It doesn’t appear on my orders list and never came. So weird. Anyhow, it’s time for another.

Korgi graphic novel. Corgis are like sugar, you can never have enough:

Lacy lashes

I have a sort of troubled love affair with my lashes. After blush, I would rate mascara as my second most important beauty essential. Full lashes are feminine and youthful and so, so pretty. Sadly, mine are pale brown and stubby. Most mascaras run horribly on me, waterproof ones still run and then leave me looking like a panda. I have experimented with those stick on clumps of lashes (I’m too unco to keep them looking nice), as well as strips of false lashes (I’m too unco to get them on at all). I love the effect of eyelash extensions, but they are just ridiculously expensive and time consuming.

So. When I saw this Relian lash extending mascara, I thought it was certainly worth a go:

Apparently, you use the primer goo first, then the lash goo, and then finish with some primer goo. I’ll let you know how well it works.

If it’s not win, it will be back to my old staple Beauty Tubes. It never smudges, and you can actually wear it for several days in a row (if you don’t mind it getting a bit manky, I’ve done up to three). It creates a bit of a ‘rough’ looking lash though, no where near as smooth and as pretty as a lash extension.
